Tushar Arora.

Cadiz Edinburgh, General Manager

Tushar started with us back in 2011 as a member of our Pre-opening team in Amarone Edinburgh before moving to Dubai.

He then joined us again to work in Cafe Andaluz in 2022 as Assistant General Manager. Since then, he has been promoted to his current role as General Manager at Cadiz.

We asked Tushar what he liked best about the DRG. He said “Here in DRG, everyone takes care of each other as a Family, whether it's your sister restaurants, everyone is ready to help and for me that is the most important thing. The Management of the DRG group is very helpful and approachable.”

Andrea Ferrier,

Di Maggio’s Executive Chef

Andreas’ Chef Career started at the Station hotel in Perth, which also owned Gleneagles Hotel. He has worked for the DRG since April 2000 as the Head Chef in Di Maggio’s Royal Exchange Square and he has been the executive chef since 2010.

Andrea has watched the company grow and diversify over the years and have achieved many goals. He has inspired and trained many young chefs who have now progressed through the ranks in the company and some are still part of the DRG family. Although the company is very successful, he still feels that it installs a family environment and lots of personal touches.

She was then moved to work on the restaurant floor as a waitress and completed the DRG Modern Apprenticeship Programme in Hospitality Service and the Hospitality Supervision and Leadership qualification.

She is now General Manager of the Citizen. When we asked her what she enjoyed the most about working for the company, her answer was, she said it was like being part of a big family where everyone was nice to each other!
