DRG launching Modern Apprenticeships

In celebration of Scottish Apprenticeship Week, The DRG are launching their new Modern Apprenticeships with employability Minister Jamie Hepburn on Tuesday 7 March 2017 at 12.30 noon at The Anchor Line, Glasgow.

The DRG are welcoming an initial 35 employees who are undertaking a Hospitality apprenticeship, with the programme gradually extending to include further existing staff and new recruits as the business expands.  Kathryn Knox, Recruitment and Training Manager at the DRG said: “We have built an infrastructure and developed expertise within the business in order to deliver apprenticeships in-house and see Modern Apprenticeships, as the perfect way to develop and accredit the skills of their talented and dedicated staff.”
With a strong pipeline of expansion plans, that will see their workforce grow from 1000 to 1400 by the end of 2018, the DRG are committed to training and developing their young team members to be the Head Chefs and Managers of the future. Their vision is to recruit ambitious individuals with a strong desire to succeed and give them the right training to take both the company and their own careers forward.
