Brockman’s Gin weighs anchor in Glasgow

Brockmans Gin has teamed up with one of Glasgow’s top cocktail bars, The Anchor Line. To celebrate Glasgow Gin Festival which runs from 3rd – 5th March at The Briggait. In the run-up to the Festival, from 27th February, The Anchor Line will feature a special Brockmans Gin-inspired cocktail menu featuring five delectable cocktail creations.

Then at the Festival itself, these exclusive Anchor Line cocktails will be available for Festival visitors to sample at the Brockmans Gin pop-up cocktail bar. The pop up bar will see guest slots from The Anchor Line cocktail bartenders who will be mixing drinks, chatting to festival goers and showing off their skills. To top it all, Saturday 4th March will see the bar and Brockmans team up to host a special evening. There’s rumour of a late licence, discounted Brockmans cocktails, free samples and the chance to meet the team behind the brand over a martini or two.

Gin Festival is the largest of its kind in the UK and March sees its first visit to Glasgow. The festival is always a fantastic opportunity for gin aficionados to not only taste new gin but to really get into the spirit of the event by attending masterclasses given by industry professionals. Brockmans Gin masterclasses will be led by two leading experts: Bob Fowkes, Co-Founder of Brockmans Gin and Mike Whatmough, Brockmans’ UK Brand Ambassador.

The Anchor Line, which is part of the DRG (Di Maggio’s Restaurant Group), has sister bars and restaurants across Glasgow Edinburgh and Aberdeen. DRG Business Development, Fraser McIlwraith, said: “I love Brockmans. I’ve been working with the brand for 8 years, ever since running my first bar in Glasgow. Brockmans is rightly described as a ‘gin like no other’ due to its exceptional combination of blueberry, blackberry and bitter-sweet orange peel mingled with an array of other botanicals. Our customers seem to love it too”.
